If I check the iCloud web interface, everything seems fine (no extra folders anymore):
and if I attempt to delete them, they are returned in a second or two. However, my Outlook seems to have some issues - it keeps extra Sent Messages and Deleted Messages folders (see this screenshot). I understand in 2013 you don't have to map "special" folders such as Sent, Trash, and Junk, as Outlook should receive the correct settings from IMAP server. My iCloud/me.com account has gotten weirder after upgrading to Office 2013.
